He was one of the greatest explorers of the New World, with several geographical locations named for him. Unfortunately, Henry Hudson (1565 –1611 lost at sea), along with seven of his crew and his son, were left for dead on a boat in Hudson Bay after his crew mutinied against him. What happened after his ship The Discovery lost sight of him? Was he murdered? Did he become part of an Indigenous tribe? Was he held captive?
